Welcome to my website. I am a naturopathic physician licensed as a primary care provider in the state of Washington. I have developed this website to provide information on who I am and what I do.
I practice primary care and holistic family medicine with an emphasis on the integration between conventional and complimentary care. I have a special interest in women's health and sexuality.

Dr. Serena McKenzie has worked in healthcare for 18 years. She obtained her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in 2004, and completed a Family Medicine Residency at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health. She served as clinical and academic adjunct faculty at Bastyr University before entering private practice. Dr. McKenzie is board certified in Integrative Medicine through the American Board of Integrative Medicine, and her philosophy is founded in the combination of clinical science with the art of medicine to deliver holistic and integrative care for both men and women’s health needs.
Dr. McKenzie brings her expertise in systems approach to acute and chronic conditions for both men and women of all ages, and works in fluid collaboration with multi-disciplinary evidence based treatment approaches. She is also a sexual medicine expert, as well as nationally licensed Sex Counselor through the American Association of Sex Educations and Therapists, and specializes in evaluation and treatment of a wide variety of sexual concerns. Dr. McKenzie is a frequent speaker and radio personality on the topics of holistic medicine and sexuality, to both medical and general audiences.
Dr. McKenzie is a member of the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians (WANP), International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH), International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM), American Association of Integrative Medicine (AAIM), Age Management Medical Group (AMMG), and a nationally licensed Sex Counselor through American Association of Sex Educators and Therapists (AASECT), and a founding member of the Naturopathic Academy of Primary Care Physicians (NAPCP).
Dr. McKenzie currently serves as Medical Director of Whole Life Medicine, PS, which serves as the Integrative Medical Center at Washington Urology and Urogynecology.
